Istri tercintaku adalah seorang perfeksionis. Kalau kata orang IT: "The devil is on the details". Segala hal yang dia lakukan pasti harus sempurna. Hari ini kami terlibat pembicaraan sebagai berikut:
Istri: "Gimana sih bikin simbol 'euro'?"
Aku: "Hmmm, kalau pake keyboard masih belum pernah berhasil sih"
Istri: "Bisa sih copy-paste, tapi kan nanti fontnya gak sama"
Sampai disini aku nggak tahan untuk bilang.
Aku: "Kalau ada pemilihan orang ter-perfeksionis, kamu pasti juara dua"
Istri: "Nomor dua sih bukan juara."
(diam sejenak)
Istri: "Trus juara satunya siapa?"
Aku: "Monica Geller."

To type the Euro sign in Windows, you press the alt key+0128. As for the Sterling pound symbol, you can type it by pressing the alt key+0163.
Please note that you have to type the 4-digit code on the numeric keypad (do not use the normal number keys) while holding down the Alt key.

Other way, yet more difficult, is to change the keyboard type to German, Portuguese, Spanish, or anything with euro-symbol as the result for typing AltGr+E :D
