Aku Ingin

Aku ingin mencintaimu dengan sederhana
dengan kata yang tak sempat diucapkan
kayu kepada api yang menjadikannya abu

Aku ingin mencintaimu dengan sederhana
dengan isyarat yang tak sempat disampaikan
awan kepada hujan yang menjadikannya tiada

Nemu translasinya:

I WANT

I want to love you simply
in words unspoken
tinder to the flame which transforms it to ash

I want to love you simply
in signs not expressed
as clouds to the rain which makes them evanesce

tapi masih bagusan yg bahasa Indonesia dink...

I suppose the title is also Aku Ingin?
I dont remember who sang it. just heard it somewhere.
but from some google search apparently there was an album Gadis Kecil, by Dua Ibu which contains musicalizations of some poems. Including that "aku ingin".
Gl gl gl on searching it ;D
ps. send me the file once u found it xD

btw, where did u find the translation? sounds weird to me, and not poetic =/
how abt this one :

I want to love you with simple ways
with the words unspoken by tinder
to the flame which turns it into ashes

I want to love you with simple ways
with the signs unexpressed by clouds
to the rain which turns them to none

it sounds better for me somehow ^-^

stumbled on this blog after posted about the same poem in my blog

agreed, it's a beautiful poem. p.s. i did my own translation on the poem and tried my best to keep it sounding poetic.

and the song... oh, it's so melancholic.
